U.S. health officials say children under the age of 12 will be vaccinated starting next month.

Clinical trials are underway to determine the safety of the Pfizer and Modern Covid-19 vaccines for children under 12 years of age. Doctors say the data could be released next month to allow for emergency treatment later this year.

A doctor overseeing the Moderna clinical trial at Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago says they hope the permit will be available to children between the ages of 5 and 11, and young children at the end of the year.

A doctor supervising the Moderna clinical trial at Lourie Children’s Hospital in Chicago says he expects the license to be issued to children between the ages of 5 and 11 and young children by the end of the year.

“We have received a lot of positive support and feedback from parents. Thank you so much for being a part of this,” said their father, Dr. Edward Gomez.

As a result, Pfizer is scheduled to be given to children from next month. Coronavirus vaccination is now being successfully performed on children over 12 years of age in the United States.
